Our biggest pest is Dingo, aka Bingy. She likes to roll around on the floor by our schoolwork and try to solicit attention by walking back and forth between us and rubbing her fuzzy belly on us.

A school pest
Normally we have school in our basement. We have a nice little area downstairs, complete with table and chairs and bookshelves, etc. in which we can have a school-like setting. But in the winter it is FREEZING in our basement, so we usually move our "classroom" up into the living room. Unfortunately this leaves us prone to attacks from the locals, i.e. The Kitties.

Chloe is always trying to "help" with something. He always is right there when you are doing something.
We don't even have to be doing anything as important as school work for our cats to be RIGHT THERE -- in our way! As soon as i sit on the floor they come a-swarmin' Goofy animals!
Cat Rule #1 - never bother anyone when eating
Cat Rule #2 - you're always on the wrong side of the door
Cat Rule #3 - hamper
We have a few more but it sounds like #3 is in play here. Darn locals.
