Paige's Poem

In Penmanship class today Paige had to practice writing a poem. This inspired her to want to write one herself. So here is her poem that she made "for the whole world".

I love God
Because He's special,
And even more
I should love Him.

First Day of Gymnastics

Emma started gymnastics again yesterday, and she wanted me to take some pictures of her.

"Get me outta here, Mom."

Abby had crawled underneath my chair while I was using the computer. I noticed she was mighty quiet, so I looked down to see what she was doing, and here she had entangled herself within the rungs of the chair! It was too funny NOT to take a picture of it. She was stuck pretty good.

Pumpkins from my Mommy

These are the pumpkins we received from my Mom. I saw at the store today that similar pumpkins sell for at least $5 a pumpkin so that makes her gift even more generous. ☺

Dave arranged them around the house.

I like being around a couple, really close friends. How 'bout you?

Thanks for voting on my last poll! I always enjoy seeing which choice garners the most votes. Plus it helps me get to know you better as well. ☺

The results were tied between people preferring small groups to people wanting all their friends around them. I personally like the intimacy of 4 close friends, but it IS fun when you have a large group, too. And solitude is nice when you're stressed, and gives you opportunities for reflection and prayer. Plus it's difficult to read in a group setting. ☺
