Here's the story: yesterday I heard on the radio that a 17 year-old guy was hunting in the Arctic Circle with his uncle when the ice he was standing on broke apart from the ice his uncle was on. The young guy was left stranded on a 40 feet long chunk of floating ice. But he wasn't alone: there were not one, not two, but THREE polar bears on the piece with him!! He shot one and killed it because it was going to attack him. Poor fellow was stuck on the ice overnight, but thankfully was rescued the next day, and as of yesterday he was hospitalized and being treated for frostbite after enduring the sub-zero temps. Wow. Good thing he had the gun. I've said it to my girls before: Polar bears sure are cute...cute, cuddly, KILLERS! *wink*
That whole story was to tell you that two people chose the North Poll on my last poll. ☺ I hope everyone who voted enjoyed my cheeky poll about poles.
No one chose flag poll or a vaulting poll.
Two people chose a clothesline poll. Do they like to do laundry? The other day it was seriously below freezing outside; the ground and vehicle windows had frost on them. And get this: my neighbor had hung clothes out on their line to dry that morning. They are serious about saving energy.
Three voters like to fish. I don't mind going fishing but I don't particularly enjoy touching the bait.
And that brings me to the winner ---> my poll! Thank you to the other three people who chose this. I choose it as well, and I know it's kind of vain to choose my own poll, but hey, I enjoy coming up with them. ☺

Hehe, I voted clothesline pole because I like hanging laundry out on the line. :) Of course, I love your polls too!!!
Good reason not to go hunting polar bears at the north pole!!! Even if they are cute :D
